Sunflower Holistic Therapies : Casa Wendy

Casa Wendy is the home of Wendy and Stuart Wilson who pride themselves on the friendly and homely atmosphere they offer their guests. Their main aim is to help provide somewhere for people to stay for a few days whilst they are trying to buy a property in Spain. There is a choice of a double or a twin room, both with tea and coffee making facilities. The cost is €40 per night (approximately £27) for a room to include a light breakfast. (And that includes both occupants.)

Casa Wendy is situated in the lovely small town of Sierra de Yeguas, which is surrounded by beautiful gently rolling countryside rich in olive groves and almond trees (and for just a few weeks in the year, many acres of sunflowers). It is just over an hour’s drive from Malaga Airport and is well placed for visiting the larger surrounding towns of Seville, Granada and Cordoba (all around 70 miles away) The town gets its name from the tiny three-mountain range bearing the same name which overlooks the town (Sierra means "saw", describing the jagged shape the range has), it also gives its name to the Yeguas river, which slugs (accurate description) its way around the outskirts of the town.

Although Wendy and Stuart only provide
bed and breakfast for their guests they
are happy to point them in the direction
of the local bar / restaurants, none more than a five minute walk away, where good food at sensible prices may be found; and the local English and Spanish who frequent these bars are all happy to help and to offer advice.
